Wow!

I personally think that this is a pretty amazing picture...It's a Lenticular cloud that was photographed over New Zealand...These things are formed when air moves vertically instead of horizontally...Air generally moves vertically, but sometimes when wind comes off of a hill or mountain, strong vertical oscillations take place as the air stabilizes...When this happens, clouds sometimes stack on top of themselves and this is the result...I've never actually seen one other than in pictures and this is one of the neatest that I've seen...Oh and that concludes todays science lesson! haha...I have a headache now!
