Lancia Stratos Zero
So, I typically like most of the 60's and 70's type super cars and the like...Recently found this one somewhere and thought it looked pretty interesting...Don't really care for the car, but it seems to be pretty futuristic for a car that was designed back in 1970...
Apparently, it originally debuted at The Turin Motor Show in October of 1970...Pretty crazy in that the total distance from the top of the roof to the ground is only 33 inches, so this car obviously sits low...As a result of this "normal" style doors were not used...Instead, drivers had to flip up the windshield and basically walk inside the car! haha...And talk about a car with blind spots; no side or rear glass!
The car itself was powered by a mid mounted 1.6 L 4 cylinder motor that was adapted from the Fulvia HF...
Anyway, check it out:

Pic of the day!
My friend, Tony Mohr recently sent me this pic and I think it's a very cool one indeed!
For those who don't know, this is a pic of Mr. Mohr sitting on his pan-shovel that was taken several years ago...Lots of neat stuff going on with his bike in this photo! Mechanical brakes front and rear along with a foot clutch...Tony also attached a Harley rear onto the swing arm in the back...The motor itself is a 1964 Panhead bottom with a Shovel top...4 1/2" stroke with 3 5/8" bore, taking it out to 93 inches...Not too mention the crazy Weber that tops the whole motor off...nice!

Sooo...
It's been several days since I've posted on here...Sorry about that...But, during that time, I made a trip out to Long Beach to meet up with ChopperDave for a few days...Got to see some neat things, meet some awesome people and also experience one of the geeky-est things that I (and probably both of us) have ever experienced to date...I'm not tellin' exactly what it was though! haha!
But, none-the-less, Long Beach was great, Dave was an awesome host and it was just a killer trip all the way around...Hope to do it again soon! THANKS for everything Dave!

Well....
One of those weeks...Seems like I'm a lot busier with a bunch of different things since moving to Nashville...That's a good thing though!
I am, however, not updating the blog as much as I would like...Look for more stuff later this week...I'm going to get back into the habit of posting on a regular basis like I was!
Never-the-less, THANKS for stopping by and I appreciate the support!
Have a good Monday...or what's left of it at this point! haha
