Hopefully it'll be available in the US for 2009:

I've posted pics of the new HD XR1200 on here before...I like it...Lots of neat stuff on this bike...In my opinion, HD has pretty much gone down the tubes with all of its recent models, but I'm really liking the new XR1200...Take the mirrors off and I'd ride this thing all day long...Too bad they are only offering it to Europe and Africa for 2008...Hopefully, it'll hit the states in 2009...I want one:

Do it!

Now more than ever! If you don't, then you have no right or reason to complain about the state of this country after the election! Or years to come for that matter!

Incredible!

More Mars stuff...

Taken from the NASA website:

"Above the Martian arctic circle, the sun does not set during the peak of the Martian summer. But, this period of maximum solar energy is past.

On Sol 86, or the 86th Martian day after Phoenix landed on the Red planet, the sun fully set behind a slight rise to the north for about half an hour.
This red-filter image taken by the lander's Surface Stereo Imager, shows the sun rising on the morning of sol 90, Aug. 25, 2008, the last day of the Phoenix nominal mission.

The image was taken at 51 minutes past midnight local solar time during the slow sunrise that followed a 75-minute "night." The skylight in the image is light scattered off atmospheric dust particles and ice crystals.

The setting sun does not mean the end of the mission. In late July, the Phoenix Mission was extended through September, rather than the 90-sol duration originally planned as the prime mission."

I've always liked astronomy...

and thought that this was a cool pic...Sunrise on Mars...Looks pretty nice if you ask me??

Max Grundy...

does some very cool artwork...I have a few of his pieces, but this is probably one of my favorites thus far:

Revok...

Tyrants!

Li Wei...

I've posted a few of his pics/art work on here before...Very cool stuff:

A book everyone should read!

Including you!

Art...

Functional art at that...I like it...

OK!

Interesting...This little robot is actually powered by parts of a rat's brain that allows it to make decisions, etc...Pretty interesting, but kinda weird at the same time while thinking to what ends something like this could lead too!

The website is worth a look too:

This is crazy...

When completed, this will be the world's tallest building...It's located in Burj, Dubai...Looks like they are doing some interesting architectural stuff in Dubai, as I've seen some crazy pics of structures that have been built there in the past...

I'm wondering who or what is going to be located on the top floor of this thing??

Tallahassee...

On my way back from Tallahassee...Pretty uneventful week...that is, unless you consider a Tropical Storm heading directly towards you, uneventful? Left town as soon as the rain started today...They are calling for like 15 inches or something like that...15 inches of rain + drought conditions = flooding!

Unfortunately, DuPont doesn't pay me hazard pay and I don't get paid enough to work during a hurricane, so I made an executive decision to head north back towards home...probably a good idea...I have some pics to post at some point...

Tallahassee, Florida...

Hitting the road tomorrow morning to work in Tallahassee Florida for the week...It's about a 500 mile drive south of where I am...Should be a semi easy drive for a Sunday...I'm taking my cameras this time, so should be able to update with any interesting pics that I might take during the week...Hopefully everything will go smoothly during my time there...hopefully! I'm going for work..."All work and no play make........"

I like astronomy related stuff...Can't help but wonder if there's anything inside these things:

Spiral Galaxy:

Grand Design Galaxy:

Black Eye Galaxy:

Duality of Humanity

Obey:

Patriots Point, Mt. Pleasant SC...USS Yorktown

Tiki Tuesday...

I like pretty much anything tiki related...Pretty cool tiki mug...Actually, this one's really over the top, but I still like it:

I like this...

New HD XR1200...Of course, it's not available in the US yet...Hopefully next year though...For a new Harley, they actually did a pretty nice job on it compared to a lot of the other stuff they've been coming out with lately:

The five virtues of China:

Interestingly enough are:

Benevolence (jen)

Righteousness (yi)

Propriety (li)

Wisdom (zhi)

Fidelity (xin)

The above five virtues seem pretty peaceful and whatnot, but how do they relate to China's invasion and occupation of Tibet?

Morris wheel, again...

So, I'm pretty happy to finally have one of these in my possession and thought I'd post another pic, just because! Morris aluminum 7 spoke rim, with hubs for a disk brake (not pictured!)...Using it for the rear...Some guy by the name of ChopperDave hooked me up with it:

Really?
